Youth Digital Skills & Career Readiness

Equipping young people with practical skills to navigate a changing digital world.

Digital technology plays an increasingly important role in education, employment, communication, and access to public services. However, young people from underserved communities may have limited opportunities to access computers, learn digital tools, or receive career guidance.

The Shankarrao Pitla Foundation aims to support initiatives that help young adults develop practical digital skills and prepare for future educational and employment opportunities.

The Challenge

A lack of access to digital devices, reliable learning resources, and structured training can make it difficult for some young people to develop the skills expected in modern workplaces.

Young adults may also need guidance in preparing resumes, completing online applications, communicating professionally, and identifying suitable learning or employment opportunities.

Our Approach

The initiative may focus on practical, accessible learning activities, including:

  • Basic computer operation and file management.
  • Email, internet browsing, and online communication.
  • Digital safety, privacy, and responsible internet use.
  • Resume preparation and online job application guidance.
  • Introduction to productivity tools and workplace technology.
  • Career awareness sessions and referrals to further training opportunities.

Training would be planned according to the participants’ existing knowledge, learning needs, and available facilities.

Your Impact

Your contribution can help support training resources, access to learning equipment, instructional activities, and career-readiness sessions for young adults.

Invest in Skills. Open New Possibilities.

Practical skills can help young people explore further education, training, and employment pathways with greater confidence.

Support Youth Digital Skills & Career Readiness and help make digital opportunities more accessible.
